What clients receive

A regular cadence, with research when the facts require it

Some questions need a note before the market opens. Others need a company model, a manager meeting or a broader review of the economy and asset allocation. We run the recurring work to a set schedule and add to it when the evidence changes.

Morning Report

Our assessment of relevant overnight developments, markets and economic information, together with the variables we think matter for the session ahead.

Intraday Report

Time-sensitive updates when market developments, new information or a change in our assessment warrants communication during the day.

Valuation and sector work
3 publications

ASX-listed hybrids

Valuation work and updates across the listed hybrid market.

Beyond the schedule

What the service adds to the scheduled programme

The cadence above is the recurring work. Around it, we update research when the evidence changes, clients can speak directly with the investment team, and each month we put an investment question to a practitioner.

When the facts change

The programme runs to a schedule, but markets, companies and valuations do not. Company announcements, economic releases, market events, meetings and changes in valuation can all affect how we see an investment or the environment around it.

New evidence may strengthen a view, weaken it or make an assumption no longer reasonable. Where a change matters to our assessment, we update the research then rather than waiting for the next scheduled publication.

Access and delivery

Written research has limits. Sometimes the useful next step is a direct discussion about an assumption, an emerging risk, an investment we have examined or why our view has changed.

Research clients have direct access to the investment team, and the people producing the research are the people you hear from. Morning Report and intraday work arrive by email, while longer research and the broader library sit in the client portal.

Monthly Investment Series

Each month we speak with investment managers, companies and industry specialists about the decisions, risks and opportunities they are seeing. It is a live discussion rather than a prepared presentation.

Clients hear the practitioner explain the issue in their own words while we question the assumptions and use the conversation as another research input. We then decide independently what, if anything, should follow from it.

Evaluate the research

If you want to judge whether the programme is useful to the way you invest, start with the work itself. We can send you a sample, or you can try the live service for 30 days.
