Investment Research
Independent cross-asset research, ready for decisions
We write research you can use. Each piece starts with the question, shows the evidence, states the bottom line, and sets the signposts that would change it. Work is produced in-house, authored and dated, with a visible change log. Clients include institutional funds, brokers and trading platforms, advice businesses, family offices and investment committees.

How We Run
Skin in the game. Independent. In-house.
Our research supports our own equity and multi-asset mandates, so it is written from a Portfolio Manager or CIO perspective and judged on outcomes. Coverage moves with opportunity, not with index weights or quotas. Cadence is agreed up front and met. Quick updates arrive by email. The full record sits in a secure portal with version control. Licensing is seat-based or firm-wide under your AFSL. Access is permissioned and activity is logged.
Research Architecture
Three engines, one discipline
Real-time models and macro
We track the indicators that move portfolios: policy, funding, liquidity and pricing. Live models frame ranges and risk, then translate into positioning and timing.
Equities and manager research
Institutional-quality company work across Australia and globally, focused on drivers, balance sheets, valuation, catalysts and risks. We also run independent due diligence on managed funds and ETFs for style, process, risk controls and fit. No paid ratings. No trading incentives.
Cross-asset allocation
Views that connect equities, listed credit, managed funds, ETFs and hybrids. The same logic guides our mandates and our research clients, so the path from view to implementation is clear.
Coverage
Where we focus
Macro
A structured program that tracks the indicators that matter across regions. The framework has evolved over a decade to reflect what actually moves outcomes.
ETFs
Practical coverage of core and tactical ETFs. We examine structure, liquidity, tracking, costs and fit-for-purpose.
Equities (Australia and global)
Institutional-quality coverage across sectors and market caps. We focus on business quality, valuation, catalysts and risks. We are not a broker and do not benefit from client trading.
Hybrids and listed credit
Regular publications on Australian listed hybrids and government bonds. We provide pricing context, valuation work and market developments.
Managed funds
Independent due diligence across asset classes and regions. We assess style, process, risk management and track record. We are not a paid ratings agency.
Themes and executive notes
Focused papers on enduring themes, plus notes from company, manager and expert meetings. We set out what was said, what it means and what to watch.
Who We Work With
Built for wholesale and professional clients
Institutions use us to complement internal teams and inform allocation and oversight. Advisers and AFSLs use decision-ready notes that support portfolio construction and client conversations. Family offices and committees value direct access to the authors and a retained record of what changed, when and why. Brokers and trading platforms draw on independent perspectives and trade ideas delivered to fit their workflow.
Access and Cadence
Clarity without noise
You will receive concise notes when they are useful, and deeper work when the question warrants it. Materials are authored, dated and version-controlled in a secure portal. We can schedule a regular call to match your investment cycle and handle specific requests where you need a view.
Independence and Governance
Conflict-aware by design
We operate under an Australian Financial Services Licence with documented policies for conflicts, research independence, best execution, privacy and complaints. We are not a broker and do not receive fees from managers for coverage. Research production and updates are recorded with a clear audit trail.
